Graduation Rehearsal
Date: 5 December 2025
Time: 3:00pm
Venue: Multipurpose Hall, Level 4, MILA University
Participation in the rehearsal is mandatory to ensure a smooth and successful convocation ceremony.
Invitation Pass Collection
All graduands must collect their invitation passes for themselves and their guests.
These passes are required for entry to the event on 6 December 2025.

Robe Return
The return of the robe is strictly between 5:30pm and 7:00pm ONLY.
All robes must be returned immediately after the convocation event at Conference Hall.
Failure to return the robe may result in additional charges.
Photo Collection
All hard copies of the stage and studio photographs will be delivered to the graduand one month after the event.
For International Graduands:
A postage fee will apply for the delivery of photographs. Please ensure your mailing address is up-to-date at the time of registration.
Digital Photo Collection:
All photos taken during the ceremony will be made available online.

Convocation Details
Registration
Graduands Registration
Please complete your registration to confirm your attendance and receive your seat assignment.Convocation Pack Collection
Upon completing registration, graduands will be given a Convocation Pack, which includes an Award Recipient Call Card. This card contains important details such as the name, seat number, and the programme of graduation.Parents & Guest Arrival
Parents and guests are kindly requested to arrive one hour early. Please ensure that all guests bring their invitation cards, as entry to the Putra A2 Hall is strictly by invitation only.
Ceremony Protocol
To ensure a smooth and memorable experience for everyone, we kindly ask that you follow these guidelines:
- Guest seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Admission into the Putra A2 Hall is strictly with Invitation Card only.
- Putra A2 Hall will be open to guests from 2:00pm to 2:45pm.
- Guests are not allowed to sit in the designated seating area for graduates.
- Mobile phones should be turned off or set to silent mode during the ceremony.
- Photography is strictly prohibited throughout the ceremony.
- No food or drinks are allowed into the Putra A2 Hall.
- Guests and students are requested to remain seated for the entire duration of the ceremony.
- Children under 12 years old are not permitted inside the Putra A2 Hall.
Photography Etiquette
Graduands are welcome to take personal photographs throughout the day. However, we kindly request that you remain punctual and adhere to the event schedule to ensure the smooth running of the ceremony.
Professional photographers will be capturing the ceremony from multiple angles, so we encourage you to enjoy the moment while we ensure all key moments are recorded.
For any inquiries about the photography services or if you require further information on additional packages, please contact the Convocation Team or the photography vendor directly at the event.
Certificate Collection
Graduans’ certificate can be collected at Conference Hall upon the return of graduation robe.
Time: 5:30pm – 7:00pm

Attire Guide
Dress the Part: Attire
Your big day deserves the perfect look! We recommend dressing not only for the formality of the occasion but also considering the warm weather. Aim for a smart, stylish, and practical outfit.
Male Graduands
Black lounge suit paired with a long-sleeve button-up shirt, black trousers or slacks, a tie, and dark formal shoes. (Sport shoes are not permitted).
Female Graduands
A blouse or shirt paired with a knee-length skirt, pants, or a knee-length dress. Traditional attire such as Baju Kurung, Saree, or Punjabi Suit is also acceptable. (Sport shoes and sandals are not permitted).
Guests
Do kindly be noted that t-shirts, jeans, shorts, sandals, slippers, and other inappropriate attire are strictly prohibited.
Frequently Asked Questions
International Students Enquiry
1. I am an international student, and my parents need to apply for a visa. How can I obtain an invitation letter for their application?
Please email convocation@mila.edu.my with your request, and we will provide an official invitation letter for the convocation.
2. Will there be special hotel rates for those traveling from outstation or overseas?
Please contact the Convocation Secretariat at convocation@mila.edu.my to enquire on hotel accommodations.
Registration
1. Do I need to complete payment prior to the registration?
Yes, you will need to upload your payment slip on the registration page.
2. Can I pay my graduation fee from my Caution Fees?
Yes, you can pay using your Caution Fees, and upload the payment slip when registering.
Convocation Day
1. How many guests can I bring?
Each graduate is allowed to bring 2 guests. Invitations will be issued for these guests.
2. Can I bring additional guests?
Yes, additional guest passes can be purchased for RM200.00 per guest, subject to availability. Payment must be made with the graduation fee.
3. Can I register myself or additional guests on the day of the convocation?
No, all registrations and payments must be completed by 25th November 2025. Spot registrations will not be entertained.
4. What if I cannot attend the convocation?
If you are unable to attend, please contact the Registrar’s Office at registrar.office@mila.edu.my to arrange the collection of your certificate.
5. Can I keep the robe after the event?
No, the robe is rented as part of your graduation fee. You will need to return the robe after the convocation at the Robing Room.
6. When can I collect the robe?
Robes will be available for collection 2 hours before the event at the Robing Room. The room will close 1 hour before the ceremony begins.
Fee Submission
1. Do I need to send payment details after making payment?
Yes, please email your payment confirmation, along with your name and student ID, to finance@mila.edu.my and convocation@mila.edu.my.
2. Will I receive a receipt for my payment?
Yes, receipts will be issued by the Finance Department upon receiving payment confirmation. You can collect the receipt via email or in person.
3. What information should I send along with the payment confirmation?
You must include your name and student ID when sending the payment confirmation.
4. What is the deadline for registration and payment?
The deadline for registration and payment is 25 November 2025.

Car Park Information
Putrajaya International Convention Centre
- Parking is free of charge (FOC).
- Please park your vehicle at Blue Zone.
- You can use the elevators located in the parking area to go up to the venue spaces at the Concourse Level.
