MILA University Malaysia proudly announces the appointment of Associate Professor Dr. Sugumaran Selladurai as the new Dean of the School of Management & Business, marking an exciting step forward in the university’s mission to redefine business education through innovation and global relevance. 

A Seasoned Leader in Higher Education 

With more than 26 years of experience in academia, Dr. Sugumaran has built an impressive record of achievement in institutional strategy, quality assurance, programme innovation, and international collaboration. 
 
He has led major transformation role in Malaysian higher education, including repositioning the Faculty of Business, Accountancy & Law at a top private university as well as played a key role in establishing a private college, demonstrating his passion for expanding access to quality education. 

Educational Journey and Leadership Strength 

Dr. Sugumaran holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Universiti Utara Malaysia, an MBA in Marketing Management from the University of Wales (U.K), and a BA (Honours) Accountancy from the University of Bolton (U.K). 

Additionally, as an active researcher, Dr. Sugumaran’s scholarly work focuses on Corporate Social Reporting and Active Teaching and Learning. His publications, including those in the Journal of International Business and Economics (SCOPUS), reflect his dedication to enhancing business education through responsible and experiential learning approaches.
