Advancing AI Research Through Industry Collaboration
Nilai, Negeri Sembilan – 12 February 2026 – The School of Engineering and Computing (SOEC) at MILA University successfully hosted an engaging Industrial Talk titled “NVIDIA AI Solutions and Showcases”. The session brought together postgraduate students, supervisors, and SOEC staff to explore the recent advancements in artificial intelligence and how NVIDIA technologies are shaping the future of applied research and industry innovation.
Featured Speakers and Industry Collaboration
The talk featured two distinguished industry speakers: Mr. Fox C.C., Founder of Astra Intellectus, and Mr. Siwei (Will) Liu, Technical Consultant at Zentek, China, an NVIDIA Elite Partner. Their participation highlighted the growing collaboration between Zentek and Astra Intellectus in advancing AI technology, particularly in areas aligned with postgraduate research and emerging industry needs.
Key Insights: From Next-Generation AI to Physical AI
Mr. Fox shared an engaging overview of the evolution of artificial intelligence, spotlighting breakthrough applications of the next-generation AI systems. He also emphasised that the next wave of innovation will be driven by Physical AI, including autonomous vehicles and general robotics, where intelligent systems interact directly with real-world environments.
Joining the session online, Mr. Liu introduced participants to advanced NVIDIA platforms supporting AI and robotics research, including NVIDIA Cosmos, Isaac GROOT, and the DGX Spark Software Stack. These technologies demonstrate the role of scalable computing and simulation tools in accelerating next-generation AI development.
Supporting Postgraduate Research and Professional Growth
The session provided valuable exposure for postgraduate students by helping strengthen industry readiness and connecting academic research with real-world AI applications. Participants also learned about NVIDIA certification programmes, which offer intensive online training and the opportunity to earn professional certification to support future career pathways.
