Nilai, Negeri Sembilan – 8 June 2026 – MILA University has strengthened its commitment to research excellence, practice-based education and global academic engagement with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Telkom University, Indonesia. The virtual ceremony marks the beginning of a strategic collaboration that brings together complementary expertise from Malaysia and Indonesia to foster innovation, strengthen academic networks and advance multidisciplinary knowledge exchange.
Driving Research, Education and Innovation Through Collaboration
The MoU was signed by Dr. Jenny Yang Juanjuan, Acting Vice Chancellor of MILA University, and Professor Suyanto, Rector of Telkom University, in the presence of representatives from both institutions.
The agreement establishes a framework for cooperation across a range of academic and institutional priorities. These include joint research and development, academic and administrative staff exchanges, student mobility programmes, and the organisation of lectures, seminars, workshops and conferences.
Through this collaboration, both universities aim to enhance excellence in practice-based education, strengthen research capabilities and identify new opportunities for innovation across key disciplines. MILA University’s strengths in Engineering, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Business and Mass Communication complement Telkom University’s expertise in Engineering, Computing, Business, Communication and Social Sciences, Creative Industries and Applied Sciences.
