Nilai, Negeri Sembilan – 12 June 2026 – MILA University proudly honoured its top performing students at the Dean’s List Award Ceremony 2026, recognising their dedication, hard work and academic excellence.
The event brought together students, academic leaders, faculty members and staff to celebrate those who have excelled in their studies through determination, discipline and a commitment to learning.
An Inspiring Message for Future Success
Welcoming guests and award recipients, Dr Yang Juanjuan (Jenny), Acting Vice Chancellor of MILA University, congratulated students on their remarkable achievement and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence beyond the classroom.
In her address, she highlighted the importance of integrity, leadership, innovation and continuous learning, reminding students that these qualities will be essential as they progress in their academic and professional journeys.
A Celebration Supported by the MILA Community
The ceremony was attended by members of the university’s leadership team, including Mr Wong Chee Khing, Registrar; Professor Ir. Dr. Tiu Zian Cheak, Dean of the School of Engineering and Computing and School of Biotechnology; Associate Professor Dr. Sugumaran a/l Selladurai, Dean of the School of Management and Business; Dr. Wong Siew Fong, Assistant Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Ranking); and Dr. Li Songlan, Director of Academic Support Services.
Faculty members and representatives from Student Affairs, the Registrar’s Office, the Office of Academic Affairs, and the Student Representative Council (SRC) also joined the celebration, reflecting the strong support network behind every student’s success. MILA University extends its appreciation to the organising committee, academic staff, volunteers, and supporting departments for their commitment, which contributed to the smooth execution of the event.
