Nilai, Negeri Sembilan – 9 September 2025 – MILA University’s international collaboration reached a new milestone with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Institut Teknologi Nasional (ITENAS) Bandung, Indonesia. This strategic Malaysia–Indonesia higher education partnership reflects the university’s strong commitment to global academic collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Expanding Global Academic Collaboration
MILA University’s global partnership with ITENAS Bandung is part of a broader vision to establish academic collaboration in Southeast Asia and beyond. Connecting with institutions abroad has always been one of MILA’s priorities, especially with neighbouring partner universities in Indonesia and other Southeast Asia countries that share common goals in advancing education and research. The Official Signing Ceremony
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formally signed by Professor Dr. Graham Kendall, Vice Chancellor of MILA University, witnessed by Dr. Jenny Yang Juan Juan, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs and IT, and Professor Ir. Dr. Meilinda Nurbanasari, Rector of Institut Teknologi Nasional (ITENAS), Bandung.
As a private university in Malaysia, MILA’s collaboration with ITENAS, a leading private university in Indonesia ranked 6th among more than 1,600 institutions, reflects the strength of cross-border partnerships in higher education. Beyond academic excellence, ITENAS has also achieved recognition in international sustainability rankings, including the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings and UI GreenMetric World University Rankings. These accomplishments highlight its commitment to global standards and sustainable development, strengthening the value of this partnership with MILA.
