MILA University Welcomes Academic Delegation from Prince of Songkla University, Thailand

Strengthening Regional Academic Partnerships Through Global Academic Engagement

Nilai, Negeri Sembilan – 13 February 2026 – MILA University was honoured to welcome an academic delegation from Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Thailand, as part of an international visitation programme aimed at fostering cross-border collaboration and enriching student learning experiences.

The delegation consisted of 75 undergraduate students from Bachelor of Business Administration Programme (Human Resource Management and Entrepreneurship), Faculty of Humanities and Social Science, Prince of Songkla University. This visit formed part of an academic exposure initiative designed to broaden global perspectives while strengthening institutional ties between Malaysia and Thailand.

Throughout the programme, PSU students gained valuable insights into MILA University’s academic environment, postgraduate pathways, and vibrant campus life, creating opportunities for meaningful cross-cultural exchange.

 

Building Meaningful Academic Connections

The PSU delegation was accompanied by:

  • Dr. Mathukorn Bu-iad.

Representing MILA University were:

  • Associate Professor Dr. Sugumaran A/L Selladurai, Dean of School of Management and Business
  • Dr. Nur Zulaikha binti Mohamed Sa’adom, Lecturer of School of Management and Business

The visit provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and future collaboration between faculty members and students from both universities.

 

Academic Insights and Innovation Experience

During the visit, students were introduced to MILA’s academic programmes, industry-integrated teaching approaches, and strong emphasis on practical learning. A dedicated sharing session highlighted postgraduate opportunities, student support services, scholarship options, and the University’s EduTourism initiatives, showcasing Malaysia as one of the attractive study destinations.

The programme concluded with a guided campus tour, including visits to the AIRO and Tricore Labs. Students experienced hands-on demonstrations of advanced technologies such as the Unitree G02 Pro Robot Dog and the Meta Oculus 3 VR headset, reflecting MILA’s commitment to experiential, technology-driven education.
