Programme Overview
This programme is designed to prepare students for a professional career in accounting and finance. Students will develop critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills through an industry-relevant curriculum in corporate reporting, financial management, auditing, taxation, performance measurement, regulatory compliance and professional ethics. Graduates will be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies needed to succeed as accountants and finance professionals in today’s dynamic business environment.

Progression Pathways
Graduates of the Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) can progress into:
- Master in Accounting – By coursework
- Professional Pathway (ACCA, CPA Australia, ICAEW and CIMA)
Graduates can also pursue other postgraduate accounting or finance-related programmes at local or international universities, providing flexibility to specialise in their chosen field and progress toward doctoral studies, research, or leadership roles in industry. In addition, graduates may opt for the Professional Pathway by undertaking globally recognised professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA Australia, ICAEW and CIMA. The Professional Pathway complements the academic route by equipping graduates with professional recognition, practical competencies, and global career mobility, offering a faster route to full membership which enhancing their opportunities in public practice, corporate global organisations, and the public sector.
Entry Requirements
| STPM/ A-LEVEL | Pass with a minimum of 2 subjects at Grade C+ (GP 2.33) and a credit at SPM level |
| STAM | Pass with a minimum of Grade Jayyid (Good) and a credit at SPM level |
| UEC | Pass with a minimum of 5 subjects at Grade B and pass Mathematics and English, OR pass Mathematics and English at SPM |
