Train in a highly safe environment that comes with a Level 2 Biosafety Laboratory, registered under the National Biosafety Board. Progression Pathway

Graduates of the Bachelor of Science (Biotechnology) (Hons) can progress to Master’s programmes by research, such as the Master of Science in Biotechnology.

They are also well-prepared to pursue postgraduate studies in related fields including Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Food Technology, Environmental Biotechnology, Industrial Biotechnology, and Biomedical Sciences at universities locally or internationally.

Entry Requirements

STPM Pass with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any two (2) subjects or its equivalent
AND possess SPM with at least three (3) Credits including Mathematics, one (1) Science subject, and one (1) other subject
STAM Pass with a minimum grade of Jayyid or its equivalent
AND possess SPM with at least three (3) Credits including Mathematics, one (1) Science subject, and one (1) other subject
UEC Pass with a minimum of Grade B in five (5) subjects
AND pass (Grade C) in Mathematics, one (1) Science subject, and one (1) other subject
A-LEVEL Pass with a minimum of Grade D in two (2) subjects
AND possess SPM with at least three (3) Credits including Mathematics, one (1) Science subject, and one (1) other subject
MATRICULATION/

FOUNDATION

Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 or its equivalent
AND possess SPM with at least three (3) Credits including Mathematics, one (1) Science subject, and one (1) other subject
DIPLOMA Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.00
OTHERS Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government
