Diploma in Mass Communication
Programme Overview
This programme is designed to introduce students to the dynamic and creative world of Mass Communication. Students will learn to craft, manage, and deliver messages effectively across multiple platforms, while gaining hands-on experience across key areas such as Broadcasting, Journalism, Public Relations, Advertising, Radio and TV Production, and Graphic Communication. Graduates of this programme will be equipped with practical skills, and industry exposure, preparing them for a successful career in diverse communication fields, where creativity and strategic messaging are highly valued.

Progression Pathways
Graduates of the Diploma in Mass Communication can progress into Bachelor of Mass Communication (Honours) at MILA University.
They are also well-prepared to pursue other relevant degree programmes in creative arts, communication, media, journalism, advertising, public relations, and related fields at universities locally and internationally.
Entry Requirements
| SPM | Pass with a minimum of 3 credits including English |
| STPM | Pass with a minimum of 1 subject at Grade C (GP 2.00) and a credit in English at SPM or its equivalent |
| STAM | Pass with a minimum of Grade Maqbul and a credit in English at SPM or its equivalent |
| SKM | Pass Level 3 and SPM with a credit in English |
| CERTIFICATE | Pass with a credit in English at SPM or its equivalent OR Certificate in Media and Communication or its equivalent |
| UEC | Pass with a minimum of 3 subjects at Grade B including English |
| OTHERS | Any other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government |
