Foundation in Engineering

Overview
Foundation Engineering is a pre-university programme designed to prepare students for undergraduate engineering studies. Accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), this program provides a strong foundation in the fundamental sciences, mathematical concepts, and engineering principles.
Objectives of Foundation in Science
- Building a strong foundation in the sciences of the core principles, including physics, chemistry, and mathematics.
- Cultivating the ability to analyse complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Introducing engineering concepts and principles.
- Preparing for undergraduate engineering studies to successfully transition into undergraduate engineering programs.
Eligibility Criteria
| ENTRY LEVEL | ENTRY REQUIREMENT APPROVED BY MOHE |
| SPM/O-LEVEL | Pass with 5 credits including Mathematics and 1 physical Science Subject; AND pass in English and Bahasa Malaysia |
| UEC | Pass with Grade B in 3 subjects including Mathematics and 1 Physical Science Subject; AND pass in English and Bahasa Malaysia |
| Others | Any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Malaysian Government |
