Biography

Ir. Ts. Gs. EUR ING. Inv. Keith Chong Peng Lean is the Head of Department and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Computing, MILA University, specializing in Internet of Things (IoT), computing, renewable energy, electronics, and inventive problem-solving (TRIZ). With extensive experience in both industry and academia, he has contributed to advancing multidisciplinary research, innovation, and academic programme development aligned with EAC and MQA standards.

He has published over 40 journal articles indexed in Scopus and Web of Science (Q1 & Q2), holds two patents and two copyrights, and has secured national research grants including the FRGS. His current research focuses on IoT-based energy-efficient systems and intelligent electronic design for sustainable technologies. His work emphasizes bridging innovation, research, and real-world engineering practice to drive technological advancement.
