Associate Professor Dr. How Shi-Min is a distinguished Associate Professor at MILA University specializing in tourism and hospitality, firm financial performance, ESG and sustainability, and business and accounting education. With extensive academic experience, she has contributed to curriculum development, postgraduate and undergraduate programme leadership, and student-centered learning initiatives.

She has published articles in high-ranked journals such as Critical Perspectives on Accounting, Current Issues in Tourism, and Tourism Analysis and is currently leading research on integrated reporting adoption, peer assessment, and collaborative learning in higher education. Her work focuses on enhancing business performance, sustainability practices, and innovative teaching strategies to prepare students for global challenges.
