Biography

Ir. Dr. Krishnan Subramaniam is a Senior Lecturer at MILA University specializing in smart materials, rehabilitation engineering, and sustainable mechanical design. With over 20 years of combined industry and academic experience, he has contributed to advancing intelligent material systems that enhance mobility, rehabilitation, and energy-efficient design.

He has published numerous papers and presented his work at national and international conferences, and is currently leading research on the integration of smart materials into assistive and sustainable technologies. His work focuses on bridging engineering innovation with human-centered solutions to improve quality of life through technology.
