Ts. Dr. Suguna Selvakumaran is a Senior Lecturer at MILA University specializing in Bioprocess Engineering, bionanotechnology, applied microbiology, food packaging, biomaterials, and drug delivery systems. With over three years in leadership and programme coordination experience, she has contributed to the development of postgraduate programmes, green synthesis of nanoparticles, and applied biotechnology projects bridging academia and industry.

She has published research in high-ranking, peer-reviewed journals on nanotechnology and applied biotechnology and is currently leading research on green synthesis of nanoparticles for applications in food packaging, wastewater treatment, drug delivery, anticancer therapies, and antimicrobial solutions. Her work focuses on translating scientific research into practical solutions that benefit both industry and society while fostering academic innovation and quality.
