Biography

Ts. Dr. Norhana Abdul Rahman is a lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering, School of Engineering and Computing (SOEC) at MILA University. She specializes in teaching courses on construction materials, traffic and highway engineering as well as supervising postgraduate research. Throughout her career, she has held significant roles, including Final Year Project Coordinator and Committee Member of the Research Management Centre. She holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and is a graduate member of both the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM). She is also a registered Professional Technologist with the Malaysian Board of Technologists (MBOT). Her expertise includes managing higher education programs, particularly in working with accreditation bodies such as the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), the Engineering Technology Accreditation Council (ETAC) and Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC). Her research focuses primarily on construction materials and concrete technology, areas in which she has made noteworthy contributions through publications in international journals and conferences. To further her knowledge and interest in traffic and highway technology, she has embarked on an industrial attachment which aims to deepen an understanding of industry needs, enabling her to expand research efforts at the intersection of concrete technology, traffic and highway engineering.
