Biography

Munirah is a dedicated researcher in Structural Engineering with a strong academic foundation from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), where she earned her Bachelor of Civil Engineering in 2011 and MSc in Structural Engineering in 2015. Her research focuses on the advancement of sustainable and efficient construction systems, particularly in the areas of Industrialized Building System (IBS), load-bearing wall systems, and interlocking hollow block technologies. She is also deeply involved in developing eco-conscious construction materials through innovative applications of waste concrete.
Her work contributes to enhancing structural performance, promoting construction efficiency, and supporting environmental sustainability in modern engineering practices.
