Biography

Associate Professor Ir. Ts. Dr. Vengadeshwaran Velu is an Associate Professor at MILA University specializing in Electrical Power Engineering, power electronics, renewable energy, energy management, energy-efficient technologies, Industry 4.0, electric vehicles, and educational technologies. With over 35 years of academic and research experience, he has contributed to teaching and learning, research supervision, project management, and accreditation in engineering education.

He has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and conference papers indexed in Scopus and ISI and is currently leading research on power electronics-based matrix converters, renewable energy systems, and energy-efficient technologies. His work focuses on advancing engineering education and research while promoting sustainable energy solutions and technological innovation.
